Uranium Backup Versions

This brief summary illustrates some program features and the existing differences between various versions of Uranium Backup:

• Free (freeware)
  Backup through direct copy or with zip compression on local hard disks, net disks,  NAS server, iOmega REV, external USB /Firewire/SATA hard disks, other network computers, etc...
  Limitations compared to Base version: it can't make ftp backup, it hasn't the possibility of delete old files in Synchronization, it can't create zip files bigger than 4 GB (Zip64), there isn't technical support.
  
  
• Base
  Compared to freeware version it allows to make ftp backup (upload and download) and e-mail backup, it can make file deletion in synchronization and has the auto-update feature.
  
  
• Pro Tape
  It has all the features of the Base version with in addition the Tape Backup functions. It supports practically any tape drive (SCSI, IDE, USB, etc...) and the most used kinds of tape cartridges: DAT, DDS, DLT, SDLT, AIT, VXA, LTO, etc...
  
  
• Pro CD/DVD
  It has all the features of the Base version with in addition the CD/DVD burning functions. It can use a wide variety of supports: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R Double Layer. It can also create multisession disks and iso files.
  
  
• Pro SQL
  It has all the features of the Base version with in addition the possibility to make MS SQL Server (versions 7.0, 2000, 2005, 2008, Express Edition) and MSDE database backup. It allows to configure and schedule an unlimited number of backup procedures of local or remote servers and to set backup file names with fully customizable timestamp. It is also possible to configure the execution of stored procedures or queries.
  
  
• Gold
  Full version: it includes all the features of other versions, with in addition the possibility to copy locked files (Windows Server 2003 operating systems).
